A chunky, almost "sturdy", but soft, knit made from virgin wool (according to fabric/care label). The garment is labelled M (medium). I would really have liked to list it as Small. It measures 17" across from armpit to armpit, so a 34" chest - which in my book is pretty Small! The length from the armpit seam to end of sleeve where the "roll" is tacked is 13. From the nape of the neck to the bottom of the jumper measures 21. It sits a couple of inches from the hip bone, so it's not a baggy thing. The roll of the neck stays quite upright and is not at all close fitting to the neck (unlike a skinny-rib). The rolls of the neck, sleeves and body are tacked in only a couple of places so the roll shapes itself - shorter where it is tacked but longer where it has less restriction.

This is a warm, stylish, "vintage" piece of Gaultier mainline (with his signature "loop" on the back) from the mid to late 90s. It has been worn only a handful of times, washed by hand and any minor bobbling has been attended to as far as possible. It has no pulls, stains or moth-holes and begs to be worn again!
